See you at the market!
Hymers Fair offers a few options if you are interested in selling or promoting your business
VENDOR FAQs
What is the difference between an Artisan and a commercial vendor?
As an artisan you are a skilled craft worker who makes or creates things by hand. If you sell articles purchased for resale or articles sold commercially, please apply as a commercial vendor.
What happens in the Market building?
What is involved in selling food or drinks?
The sale of food and beverages is regulated by the Thunder Bay and District Health Unit and by Hymers Agricultural Society policy. Only approved food vendors are allowed to distribute food and beverages.
NO OTHER VENDOR MAY DISTRIBUTE FOOD OR BEVERAGES.
There is no alcohol allowed on the grounds.
Do I need to have a membership?
Vendors must be either paid up members of the Hymers Agricultural Society, or purchase a gate pass. Helpers may either purchase a membership, a weekend gate pass, or pay admission to get in the gate. Memberships and weekend gate passes are $10 each.
Is there someone at the grounds at all times?
A night watchman is provided Saturday, and Sunday nights. While all precautionary measures will be taken to guard against loss of equipment or display material, the Society will not be responsible for losses which might occur from pilfering, water damage, weather, fire, accident or any other causes. Concessionaires are advised to insure their own goods against any such loss.
